Combination of “Huangqi Yimu Decoction”and Enalapril for the treatment of chronic kidney disease with proteinuria: a report of 40 cases

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy ofHuangqi Yimu Decoctionand Enalapril for the treatment of chronic kidney disease with proteinuria.Methods Eighty cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 40 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with Enalapril,and treatment group was treated withHuangqi Yimu Decoctionadditionally,with the course of 3 months. The clinical efficacy,related laboratory parameters were observed. Results The total effective rate was 87. 50% in the treatment group and 67. 50% in the control group,with a difference between the two groups( P 0.05). In each group,there were significant differences in the levels of 24-hour urine protein and plasma protein between before and after treatment( P 0.05); after treatment,there were significant differences in the levels 24-hour urine protein and plasma protein between the two groups( P 0. 05).Conclusion CombinedHuangqi Yimu Decoctionand Enalapril can effectively control proteinuria and improve the plasma protein level.
