Clinical observation of Ningshui decoction on chronic glomerulonephritis

Objective To observe the effect of Ningshui decoction on chronic glomerulonephritis.Methods 102 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in control group(n=36) received routine western medicine therapy.66 cases in treatment group were treated by combination of routine western medicine and Ningshui decoction.The clinical effect and improvement of related indexes of laboratory examinations were compared in two groups after three months of treatment.Results The total effective rate in treatment group(97.0%) was higher than that in control group(77.8%,P0.05).There was significant difference between before and after treatment on Cr,BUN,24 h urine protein and Hgb in two groups(P0.05).The levels of Cr,BUN,24 h urine protein and Hgb in treatment group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion Ningshui decoction has a good effect on chronic glomerulonephritis,and can delay progress of chronic glomerulonephritis.
