Abstract
Objective To investigate the valsartan and amlodipine treatment of essential hypertension clinical efficacy and safety. Methods A retrospective analysis of our hospital in July 2011-July 2013 admitted 130 patients with essential hypertension data, multi-center, double-blind, randomized, double- dummy, parallel testing method, the patients were divided into observation group and the control group, 65 cases were confirmed by two weeks washout period, the control group were treated with valsartan hydrochlorothiazide combined treatment, observation group valsartan and amlodipine treatment, two groups of patients the efficacy and safety evaluated. Results The total effective rate was observed in patients with significant differences compared to patients in the control group was statistically significant(P0.05), during the two groups of patients, no serious adverse reactions, the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Valsartan and amlodipine treatment can effectively control hypertension, medication safety, satisfactory.
