CLINICAL OBSERVATION OF COMBINING VALSARTAN AND AMLODIPINE ON PRIMARY HYPERTENSION

[Objective] To study the efficacy of combining valsartan and amlodipine on primary hypertension,we can accumulate experience to direct our clinical work. [Methods] 240 patients with primary hypertension were all with ambulatory treatment in our hospital,which were randomly divided into two groups.120 patients were as observation group,which were treated with valsartan and amlodipine. Other 120 patients were as control group,which were treated only with valsartan. The therapeutic effect of two treatment methods was compared. [Results] We followed up all patients at the end of the 4th week and the end of the 8th week after treatment. Blood pressure of observation group was decreased obviously,and the therapeutic effect of observation group was obviously better than the control group;blood pressure of observation group was decreased obviously at the end of the 8th week,and the therapeutic effect of observation group was obviously better than the end of the 4th week. The adverse reactions of two groups were all little. [Conclusion] Combining valsartan and amlodipine in the treatment of primary hypertension can get obvious effect and a few adverse reactions,which can be adopted in clinic.
