Abstract
To overcome the disadvantages of the analogous photovoltaic (PV) array simulator, a digital PV array simulator made up of a DC chopper, which is based on the mathematical models of solar cells, was presented. With the digital PV array simulator, the I-V characteristics of PV array can be simulated at any corresponding radiation intensity and ambient temperature. The experimental results show that the output characteristics of the simulator are very close to those of the actual PV array, and the simulator has a good dynamic response as well.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
