Abstract
Based on the most popular photovoltaic array engineering mathematical model,a photovoltaic array power function model, which is a new type of mathematics model,is deduced, and it has been applied to the design of PV array simulator. The simulator control unit complete data analysis, processing and real-time control by IPC.Photovoltaic array output is simulated when light intensity and temperature change, and photovoltaic array characteristic curve can be real-time display. The test results show that the simulator can adjust output rapidly to track photovoltaic array IU characteristic curve according to load equivalent impedance changes, performs a good dynamic response, and plays a very good reference function for the research of PV array simulator.
