Survey on bird resources in Qianfoshan Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province

The birds in the Qianfoshan Nature Reserve had been surveyed in October 2002 and May 2003.There were 160 species,belonging to 35 families,13 orders.2 species were national protected first-grade birds,19 species national protected second-grade birds.20 species were endemic species of China.91 species were resident,48 species summer type,13 species winter type and 8 species troop type.The avifauna was mainly Oriental region.Most birds were in the broad-leaved forest and the brushwood.The distribution of birds were different between vertical and level.
