Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical significance of Bax pro-apoptotic gene expression in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 44 Cases of non-small cell lung cancer and 32 normal lung tissues were detected by means of immunohistochemical assay for Bax gene expression. Results The posative rate of Bax in 44 cases was 52.27% ,While the normal lung tissues was 18.75%.There was ralationship between Bax expression and TNM status and lymph Node metastasis, and there was higher expression in edge cells than in central ones of lung cancer tissues Conclusion Bax protein can be a inference indicator of evaluating the biologic behavior and prognosis of lung caneer.Apoptosis may play a role in the advanced lung cancer metastasis.
