TWO NEW SPECIES OF DIPTILOMIOPINAE FROM CHINA (ACARIFORMES: RHYNCAPHYTOPTIDAE)

Abstract

This paper deals with two new species of Diptilomiopinae from China.The type specimens are deposited in the Nanjing Agricultural University.1.Rhynacus gunxinensis sp.nov.(figs.1-5)This new species resembles R.carolinensis(Keifer),but its shield with dorsal tubercle,median line incomplete,coxa and female cover flap smooth,featherclaws divided and 5-rayed.Holotype,allotype,paratypes 5 Nanning,Guangxi Provence,VI.3.1985,collected by Huang Liang-wi.Host plant:Cleidiocarpon cavalerei.2.Diptacus ulmi sp.nov.(figs.6-11)This new species resumbles D.ruora Keifcr,but its tergites smooth,featherclaw 5-rayed,female coverflap with longitudinal ribs.Holotype,allotype Chongan,Fujian Provence,Ⅵ.29.1985,collected by Kuang Hai-yuan and Zhuo Wen-xi Host plant:Ulmus sp.
