STUDY ON THE PREPARATION OF COMPOUND CHUANXIONG DROPPING PILLS

Abstract

Objective To optimize the preparation technology of compound Chuanxiong Dropping Pills. Methods The preparation conditions,such as the drug and matrix,dropping temperature,condensate temperature,dropping speed and dropping distance,were studied with orthogonal test.The obtained results were tested by three indexes,such as discrepancy of pill weight,time limit of dissolution and appearance of the dropping pills.The preparation process was then optimized. Results The optimal preparation conditions were as follows:ratio of intermediate material to matrix was 1∶2,dripping temperature was 80℃,temperature of condensate was 15-20 ℃,dropping distance was 5cm,and dropping speed was 40drop/min. Conclusion The preparation process is reasonable,simple and easy to control,which is suitable for the preparation of compound Chuanxiong Dropping Pills.
