Abstract
Objective To suvey the effects of mental intervention on life quality of patients with breast cancer after mastectomy.Methods 130 patients were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group.The control group were treated with routine care.The intervention group was treated with mental intervention and health education before and after operation besides usual care.Results The scores of SDS and SAS did not showed significantly difference among the intervention group and the control group(P0.05),which should be significantly different when compared with normal people(P0.001).The scores of SDS and SAS among intervention group were significantly lower than those in te control group after mental intervention(P0.001).The compliance with treatment among intervention group was significantly higher than that among control group(P0.001).Conclusion Mental intervention can improve the quality of life among patients with breast cancer after mastectomy.
