Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of mental intervention on life quality of patients with breast cancer after mastectomy.Methods200 patients were randomly divided into control group and intervention group. The control group were treated with usual care. The intervention group was treated with mental intervention and health education before and after operation besides usual care.ResultsThe scores of SDS and SAS did not showed significantly difference among intervention group and control group(P﹥0.05),which should significantly difference when compared with normal people(P﹤0.001). The scores of SDS and SAS among intervention group were significantly lower than that of control group after mental intervention(P﹤0.001). The compliance with treatment among intervention group was significantly higher than that among control group(P﹤0.001).ConclusionMental intervention can improve quality of life among patients with breast cancer after mastectomy.
