A Study of the Characteristics of the Interpersonal Values of College Students

Abstract

In this study,923 college students in Chongqing,Chengdu and Nanchong were tested by means of the self-made Interpersonal Values Scale of College Students(IVSCS).The results show that IVSCS has comparatively high reliability and validity,and that the characteristics of construction of interpersonal values of college students can be measured objectively.In general,the interpersonal values of college students tend to be positive,with however an unbalanced development in the structure.There is significant difference of sex,grades and family income in the interpersonal values of college students.
