A Study on Relationship between Interpersonal Abiltiy and Mental Health of College Students

This study investigates 965 undergraduates in Dalian through questionnaire to understand the traits of college students' interpersonal ability and mental health,and to reveal the relationship between the two,so as to provide psychological proof for college students' healthy development and the corresponding work of college educators.The results show:(1)There is significant difference of college students'interpersonal ability in grade and sex in that the ability of students in Grade 1 is higher than that of Grade 2 and female students have higher interpersonal ability than male students,while there is little difference in major and student origin.(2)There is significant difference of students' mental health in grade and sex while there is little difference in their major and origin in a whole.(3)There is significant difference between overall level of mental health of college students in Dalian and the national average level.(4)The regression analysis shows that college students' interpersonal ability can predict their mental health.
