Effect of Chemotherapy Assisted with Fuzheng Yiqi Decoction for Colorectal Cancer Patients after Operation

Objective: To investigate the effect of chemotherapy assisted with Fuzheng Yiqi Decoction for colorectal cancer patients after operation. Methods: Eighty-four cases of colorectal cancer patients,who were pathologically confirmed after operation and treated in our hospital from January 2009 to April 2011,were randomly divided into two groups. Control group was treated with FOLFOX chemotherapy [oxaliplatin,135 mg /( m2·d),1d; folinic acid 200 mg/( m2·d),5-FU400 mg/( m2·d),combined with intravenous infusion 5 d,repeated 21 days for 1 cycles]. Treatment group was treated with FOLFOX chemotherapy combined with Fuzheng Yiqi Decoction. Extracting peripheral blood after 2 cycles,the Treg was detected and compared. The adverse reaction during treatment was observed. According to the Karuafsry score before and after treatment was used to evaluate the quality of patients' life. Results: The Treg values in treatment group were markedly lower,toxicity was significantly reduced,and quality of life was improved. Compared with the control group,there was significant difference,P 0. 05. Conclusion: Chemotherapy assisted with Fuzheng Yiqi Decoction could improve the immune function of patients,enhance chemotherapy effect,not only enhance anti-tumor effect,but also reduce the toxic side effects of chemotherapy,and improve the quality of patients' life.
