This paper presents the general model for the evaluation of the dependability of surface to air missile weapon system based on Markov model.The example given in the paper is to serve as an illustration of the above.Through the discussion of the effect of the factors such as operation time,reliability of sub-system,the number of the launching unit in detail,this paper shows the practical significance to the design of surface to air missile weapon system.
