Abstract
This paper analysis the configuration of surface to air missile weapon system,and presents the general model for the evaluation of the dependability of surface to air missile weapon system. The example given in the paper is to serve as an illustration of the above. Through the discussion of the effect of the factors such as operation time,reliability of sub-system,the number of the launching unit in detail,this paper shows the practical significance to the design and employing of surface to air missile weapon system. The results illuminated that the evaluation of dependability of surface to air missile weapon system may be a strong support to the evaluation of the effectiveness and the operations decision.
