Abstract
The thought of Mao Zedong's moral education is the important part of Mao Zedong Thought. This paper analyses the functions, the contents and the methods of the thought of Mao Zedong's moral education historically from the angle of forming and development of socialist morals, and points out the practical significance for present ideological political education of analyzing and looking back the thought of Mao Zedong's moral education under the new situation.
