Abstract

Against the special historical background in the beginning of the 20th century,scholars pioneered by Liang Qichao,Wang Tongling,Lv Simian,Lin Huixiang,Song Wenbing,and Li Ji made fruitful studies on Chinese Ethnic History,and promoted the development of Chinese Ethnic History as an independent discipline with complete system,definite object of study,and rich content,thus laying a solid academic foundation for its development in the later half the 20th century.
