Abstract

The advantages and defects of several common methods on river crossing of gas transmission pipeline are summarized.Taking the project of Shaan-Jing №2 natural gas pipeline crossing Yellow River for example,the advantages of constructing a tunnel at river bottom to install large natural gas pipeline,such as better engineering quality,lower construction cost,easier management and maintenance,expandable application,are discussed,and a suggestion on the further popularization and application is presented.
