A Research about Psychological Health Condition the Personality Characteristic of Sports Major Students

Abstract

Objective:To explore mental health and personality characteristics of college students of sports major.Methods:987 college graduates in sports major were investigated with SCL-90 and EPQ.Results:College students with over medium level of mental health problems account for 10.7%;Girls were more extensive and obvious than boys;The total score and factor scores in students of training major were obviously lower than other three majors of college students.Conclusion:The general level of mental health of sports major students is lower than that of the common people in the country,and the mental health has close relationship with personality characteristics.
