Abstract

Objective In order to know the antibacterial ability of various antibacterial products,so as to provide data for practical application. Methods The bacterial inhibition ring test was used to determine antibacterial effect of four antibacterial products.Result All three products,Fujunqing containing Chinese herbal medicine and chlorhexidine acetate,Yumeidan lotion containing pure Chinese herbal medicine and Qingping cream containing pure Chinese herbal medicine, had bacteriostasis on Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. The range of average inhibition ring diameter was as follows: S.aureus was 7.4 mm~17.3 mm,E.coli was 7.8 mm~14.6 mm and C.albicans was 7.2 mm~18.7 mm.The antibacterial effect of Shuqijie ecological liquid was poor,it had no inhibitory effect on C.albicans.However,Fujunqing presented the strongest antibacterial ability. Conclusion Four antibacterial products in this test displayed bacteriostasis at different extent, the product containing chlorhexidine acetate was the best.
