Abstract
In this paper,we discussed some of the main characteristics of Yangsheng rhymes(-n,-η,-m)in YunBu(韵补),its characteristics mostly are:the boundary of rhyme categories n tail,-m tail and-η tail is not very clear.Such as some characters of even-teeth and pursed-mouths in the Geng(梗),Zeng(曾)and Shen(深)has been merged with Zhen(臻)parigraha;Besides,great changes have taken place in the rhyme categories about the labial sound of Wen(文),Yuan(元)and Fan(凡)rhyme group,the closing medial have lost,and they turned into broad sound and switched to corresponding yidengyun and erdengyun.So is the entering tone rhymes.These important phonetic phenomenons reflected the characteristics of early mandarin in Song dynasty,and quite have the consistency with some historical documents.
