A Modern Interpretation to Chuang Tzu's Philosophy of Life

Abstract

The philosophy of life is an important part in Chuang Tzu's thought.Although it was born about more than two thousand years ago,we could still feel a strong infection by reading Chuang Tzu's prose,and his words have greatly inspired us.With individual experience in life,the author makes a modern interpretation to Chuang Tzu's philosophy of life from four aspects,namely,subject and object being one,the utility of the useless,(of fishing) forgetting each other in rivers and lakes,as well as Xiaoyao-wandering in spirit.It is expected that the article will be enlightening to modern people.In addition,the aesthetic interest in Chuang Tzu's philosophy of life is also an excellent spiritual enlightenment to artistic creation.
