Abstract

Special rhyme in cross-rhyming of Yang rhyme with different codas in the poetry by poets from Jiangsu and Zhejiang in the Song dynasty is studied on the basis of thorough analysis of the poets' rhyming.The number of the special rhymes are 862 in all including rhyming between zhenwen rhyme and gengqing rhyme,rhyming between zhenwen rhyme and qinxun rhyme,rhyming between gengqing rhyme and qinxun rhyme,rhyming between zhenwen rhyme,gengqing and qinxun rhyme,rhyming between hanxian rhyme and Jianlian rhyme,rhyming between jiangyang rhyme and hanxian,jianlian rhyme,rhyming between zhenwen rhyme and dongzhong,jiangyang rhyme,rhyming between hanxian rhyme and gengqing,dongzhong rhyme, rhyming between qinxun rhyme and dongzhong,jiangyang rhyme.It is indicated that Jiangsu dialects differ from the common language in the Song Dynasty by some special rhymes.
