Effect on Serum Markers of Liver Fibrosis and TIMP-1 in Liver Tissue of Liver Fibrosis Rats Treated withShugan Jianpi Recipe andHuoxue Huayu Recipe

Abstract
Objective :To observe the effect on serum markers of liver fibrosis and TIMP-1 in the liver tissue of liver fibrosis rats which are given Shugan Jianpi Recipe.75 male rats were devided into five groups randomly :control group,model group,Jianpi Shugan group,Huoxue Huayu group,colchicine group.The rats in each group were injiected pertoneally with 40% carbon tetrachloride olive oil to induce liver fibrosis expect control group.The rats in the control group were injected peritoneally with 0.9% physically saline 0.5 mL.Each group were intervented with different drugs from the fifth week.The rats in the model group and the control group were given the gastric lavage of 0.9% physical saline 10 mL/kg.Jianpi Shugan group were given the Jianpi Shugan presciption;Huoxue Huayu group were given the compounded Biejia Ruangan tablet.The colchicine group were given the colchicine.The rats were put to death after 8 week,testing the TIMP-1 in the liver tissue and the fibrosis marker in the serum.Rusult :The liver fibrosis markers in the serum of the other three groups were lower than that in the model group(P0.05).TheJianpi Shugan group was better than the other two groups.The TIMP-1 in the liver tissue of the other three groups were lower than that in the model group(P0.05).The Jianpi Shugan group was better than the other two groups.Conclusion :Jianpi Shugan prescription can significantly treat liver fibrosis,and reducing the expression of TIMP-1 in the liver tissue may be the mechanism.
