The Reform on Alleviating the Pressure of Competition in College Entrance Examination abroad and Its Inspiration

The competitive pressures of College Entrance Examination have led to significant social problems.Governments of some developed countries have adopted a series of reform measures to alleviate the pressure of competition in the college entrance examination.Providing many opportunities of examination and classification test for different candidates groups,increasing the selectivity of subjects,reducing the weight of college entrance examination results in the enrollment,examinations and assessment highlighting humanity,reforming the form and content of examinations,all these reforms aim to promote the transition from examination-oriented education to quality education,which base on the orientation of the college entrance examination.Drawing on the foreign experience in the college entrance examination reform,China should highlight stability and changing nature of the college entrance examination and maintain the vitality of the college entrance examination through reforms.
