Clinical observation of 3DCRT and conventional radiotherapy on cervical cancer

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and conventional radiotherapy on cervical cancer.Methods 60 cases of cervical cancer were divided into treatment group(30 cases) treated with conventional irradiation combined three-dimensional conformal radiation and control group(30 cases) treated with conventional external beam irradiation combined intracavitary.All patients were evaluated with the clinical efficacy,safety observation and the quality of life.Results The total effective rate was 100% in both groups.There was significant difference of rectal reaction between the two groups(P0.05),and there were no statistically significant difference of bone marrow suppression,bladder reactions and skin lesions in two groups(P0.05).After treatment,the overall quality of life in patients with the treatment group was significantly higher,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and intracavitary radiotherapy is similar to the overall curative effect.There was no difference in statistically significant,but the treatment group can reduce the incidence of rectal and severity of reaction,improve the quality of life of patients.The way for treatment provided another treatment way for the others medical units.
