Abstract
Amyl salicylate was synthesized from salicylic acid and amyl alcohol with nano-scale rare earth complex super acid La3+/SO42-/TiO2 as catalyst, and effect on the esterification was studied.Result showed that the esterification rate of salicylic acid was up to 95.2% when molar ratio of salicylic acid to amyl alcohol was 1∶2,usage of catalyst was 12%,toluene of 8mL,and reaction at 130-140℃ for 2h.
