Abstract
The relative land resources carrying capacity, relative economic developmental carrying capacity and synthetic resources carrying capacity of Shangqiu city from 1996 to 2005 have been calculated in this paper by using calculation methods of relative resources carrying capacity system. Thus conclusions were obtained as follows: the contribution of land resources carrying capacity to synthetic resources carrying capacity exceeded that of economic developmental carrying capacity;the synthetic resources carrying capacity was less than general population and has been in the state of overload;the proportion of overloaded resources was high, but its current was decreasing.Based on above investigations, some suggestions on sustainable development of land resources were proposed.
