Ultrasound in diagnosis for septate uterus with early pregnancy

Objective To explore the clinical value of transabdominal ultrasound(TAS)and transvaginal ultrasound(TVS) in diagnosis for septate uterus with early pregnancy.Methods 76 patients suspected of the septate uterus with early pregnancy were enrolled in this study.Abortions to be performed were performed after TAS and TVS examination in all patients.Surgical results as a diagnostic gold standard,the inspection results were analyzed.Results There were 48 cases of septate uterus with early pregnancy,13 cases of cornual pregnancy,15 cases of eccentric intrauterine pregnancy.The merger between TAS and TVS septate uterus with early pregnancy,the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were 81.2%,93.7%;69.2%,88.6%,88.3%,93.4%.There was significant difference(P0.05)between the two methods.Conclusion TVS is a feasible way for diagnosis of septate uterus with early pregnancy,it is superior to abdominal ultrasound,and with important clinical value.
