Value of transvaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis of septate uterus with early pregnancy

Objective To explore the clinical value of transvaginal ultrasound(TVS) in the diagnosis of septate uterus with early pregnancy.Method Thirty cases with septate uterus with early pregnancy confirmed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed according to postoperative pathological diagnosis and the characteristics of TVS.Results According to the results of ultrasound images,septate uterus with early pregnancy was divided into two types: complete septate uterus(9 cases),incomplete septate uterus(21 cases).Twenty-six patients were accurately diagnosed in 30 cases of septate uterus with early pregnancy(accuracy rate of 86.7%).One case was misdiagnosed as cornual pregnancy,two cases as eccentric intrauterine pregnancy,one case missed diagnosis.Conclusion TVS is a feasible way,with important clinical value for diagnosis of septate uterus with early pregnancy.
