Clinical Value of Detachable Micro-sprung Coil in Endovascular Embolization Treatment of Intracranial Aneurysms

Objective To evaluate the clinical value and operating techniques of detachable coil in endovascular embolization treatment of intracranial aneurysms.Methods Fifty -six patients with intracranial aneurysms were analyzed retrospectively,and 63 intracranial aneurysms were found,of which 28 were anterior communicating artery aneurysm,25 were posterior communicating artery aneurysm,and 3 were petrous internal carotid artery aneurysm.Under general anesthesia,the detachable coil was put into the aneurysm via a catheter,which was predisposing to the thrombosis and eventually made the aneurysm occlusive,and in the meanwhile maintained the parent artery patent.Results The parent artery hemodynamics of 1 case was slightly blocked due to the excessive embolism,1 case showed slight nerve dysfunction, both of them returned to normal after treatment.The aneurysm of 1 case ruptured intraoperatively,the hemostasia of which succeeded by the continued embolization.The other 53 cases were not rebleeding after the aneurysm embolization,and the clinical symptoms disappeared.Conclusion The detachable coil can effectively occlude cerebral aneurysm,which is a minimally invasive,safe,reliable,with significant clinical effect,and accepted by patients and families treatment method.
