Endovascular embolization of small intracranial aneurysm

Objective To discuss the therapeutic intervention principles of small intracranial aneurysm.Methods The results of endovascular embolization of 39 cases with intracranial small aneurysm were analyzed in the hospital.31 cases were the responsibility of bleeding aneurysm,8 cases of unruptured aneurysm.2 cases in carotid artery,4 cases were in M1 middle cerebral artery,2 cases of aneurysm were in M1 segment bifurcation of middle cerebral artery,16 cases were in anterior communicating artery,11 posterior communicating artery,3 cases in A1 segment of anterior cerebral artery,one case in initial part of posterior superior cerebellar artery.Results In 39 patients,successful endovascular embolization had 35 cases,2 patients were only stent implantation,2 patients failed embolization of unruptured aneurysm.No deaths occurred.Conclusion Small intracranial aneurysm embolization is more difficult,and should be held in individual treatment.
