The interventional therapy for intracranial aneurysm

Objective To sum up the experience and the efficacy of embolization for intracranial aneurysm with Interventional therapy.Methods 13 case intracranial aneurysm was confirmated by digital subtraction angiography and embolized with Cuglielmi detachable coil(GDC) in endovascular,among the 13 case 5 aneurysm on the posterior communicating artery,2 aneurysm on the internal carotid artery,s aneurtysm on the anterior communicating artery,2 aneurysm on the middle cerebral artery,7 aneurysm was bladder shape,2 calabash shape,2 globular shapel and broad-neck,the diameter of aneurysms between 4-11mm.Results Among the 13 case,6 case were embolized 100%,4 case were embolized 95%,2 case were embolized 80-90%,1 case under 80%.3 case was accompanied cerebral angiospasm,1 case coil end protruding,1 case were over-embolized.Conclusion There is a operative therapeutics method which embolization of intracranial aneurysm with guglielmi detachable coil.
