Abstract
Objective To investigate the protein expression of caspase3 and bcl-2,to reveal the correlation between their expression and clinical-pathology parameters in breast cancer. Methods The data of clinic and pathology with 21 cases of adenosis of breast,21 cases of fibroadenoma of breast, and 96 cases of breast cancer was respectively collected. All specimen were evaluated by histopathology, correlationship of these factors was analyzed. Results The positive rate of caspase3 protein expression in adenosis, fibroadenoma and carcinoma of breast was 85.72% (18/21),61.90% (13/21) and 23.96% (23/96),respectively.The positive rate of caspase3 protein expression in breast cancer was significant lower than them in the benign disease of breast ( χ2=32.983,P=0.000).With the positive rate of caspase3 protein expression in breast cancer was lower, the clinical stages became higher ( χ2=9.184,P=0.010).The positive rate of bcl-2 protein expression in breast cancer was significant higher than them in the benign disease of breast (χ2 =9.790,P=0.007).With the positive rate of bcl-2 protein expression in breast cancer increased, the clinical stages became higher (χ2 =13.894,P=0.000).There was significant positive correlation between caspase3 and bcl-2 protein expression in breast cancer. The correlation between cooperation effect of them and clinical stages (T=15.459,P=0.0063).It was closer than it between any one of them and clinical stages. Conclusion The positive rate of caspase3 and bcl-2 protein expression of breast cancer has important value to evaluate the malignant or benign disease of breast. Both of them can affect the development of breast cancer together.
