Abstract

AIM: To establish a method for the determination of Astragaloside Ⅳ in Oiluyishen Tabletes(Radix Astragali, Herba Pyrolae, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Radix Codonopsis, etc.) by HPLC-ELSD. METHODS: Chromatography was performed on a 5μm HIQsilC 18 column(4.6mm×250mm) at 25℃. The mobile phase composition was acetonitrile-water(34∶66). The flow rate was at 1.0mL·min -1. An evaporation light-scattering detector (ELSD) was used as detector with gas flow rate of 2.6 mL·min -1 and drift tube temperature at 100℃. RESULTS: The linear range of Astragaloside Ⅳ was in the range of 2.288~ 22.88μg, r=0.999, the average recovery was 98.8% and RSD was 1.2%. CONCLUSION: This method is simple, feasible and reproducible. It can be used for the quality control of Oiluyishen Tabletes.
