Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of Shugan Hewei Tang(SHT) on the expression of induced nitric oxide synthase mRNA(iNOSmRNA) and somatostatin receptor1 mRNA(SSR1mRNA) in gastric antrum of discordance between the Liver and Stomach functional dyspepsia rats and investigate its mechanism. Methods:The rats were divided into six groups at random: the normal control group, the model group, the large, middle and small dosage of SHT groups and mosapride group. After the rats were treated, the iNOSmRNA and SSR1mRNA gastric antrum were dectected by the methods of in situ hybridization. Results:SHT can reduce the expression of iNOSmRNA and SSR1mRNA in model gastric antrum tissue significantly, and it has no significant different in comparision to the group of mosapride. Conclusion:The function of lowering the expression of iNOSmRNA and SSR1mRNA in the gastric antrum tissue, and then the lowering composition of iNOS part SSR maybe one of its mechanisms.
