Abstract
The paper analyzes the power-saving mechanism of realizing unit’s start-up by using turbine-driven feedwater pump instead of motor-driven feed water pump; priefs the key technical problems needing to solve,for example,steam source for start-up,regulation and control of feedwater flow,switching-over of steam sources for turbine-driven feedwater pump,tripping handling of turbine-driven feedwater pump during unit’s start-up or the fault handling of neighbouring unit’s steam source;and enumerates the application examples in several power plants of Guohua Power,about is million kwh of service power may be economized in one year. economic benefit is obvious.
