Abstract

Taking cognitive linguistics as the study perspective,this paper explores the application of cognitive metaphor in the foreign teaching,analyses the enlightenment of substantial metaphor,structure metaphor and space metaphor on the foreign teaching and puts forward the view that college students'metaphor thinking and application ability should be strengthened in the foreign teaching and cross-cultural communication.
