Abstract
Objective:To investigate the density and species and seasonal variation of flies. Method:To study the flies collected with strips in Nanchang frontier area. Results: There were 10 fly species, 9 genera, 4 families.Among them, M. domestica Vicina Macguart and Lucilia Sericata Meigen were superior species. Aldrichina grahami Aldrich, Chrysomya megacephala Fabricius and Helicophagella melanura Meigen were also common species. Anthomyia illocata Walker was first reported in the district. The density of fly, which can be monitored this year, was 0.13~ 7.2 per strip for one day. Conclusion:The species density of flies was correlated with the environment, season and weather.
