Study on therapeutic effect and security of insulin pump treatment in newly-diagnosed diabetes

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and safety of insulin pump used for type 1 diabetes therapy.Methods To divide the 80 subjects into two groups which respectively accepted the insulin pump therapy and the common insulin therapy.To observe and compare the descending levels of blood glucose and incidence rate of hypoglycemia of two groups after one week therapy.Results Fasting blood glucose and 2h three postprandial blood glucose levels of post-treatment were significantly reduced compared with ones of pre-therapy in both groups,and the descending levels of blood glucose in insulin pump group were more significant compared with common insulin group(P 0.05).And the incidence rate of hypoglycemia in insulin pump group was lower than that in common insulin group.Conclusion The therapy of insulin pump is more swift,more secure and more stable for controlling blood glucose.
