Abstract
In recent years,the geopolitical structure of East Asia has undergone great changes.China and Japan are involved consistently in disputes about historical and current problems.At the same time,East Asian Community has become a hot issue in this area.Thus,how to understand the historical change in this area has become a key problem in the construction of East Asian Community,since scholars have failed to analyze the possible common basis of this community so far.This paper discusses this problem from the perspective of nation-state building in East Asian area.
