Abstract

The concept of Asian Community was once the major economic and foreign policy that Japan long delibreted upon as an East Asian economic tractor. However,this concept was facing many difficulties in reality and hard to practice. All the factors including Japan's swing in the sense of Asian identity,lack of East Asian regional political and security mechanism,structural impediments to the East Asian regional economy and East Asian regional economic structure,and as well as the American and Chinese factors in Asian Community Construction became important fetters for Japan to promote the concept of Asian Community ,bounding Japan's practice in Asian Community Construction.
