Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of ulinastatin combined with somatostatin in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis. Methods 38 cases with severe acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The two groups were given routine treatment and somatostatin, ulinastatin was added to the observation group. Changes of TNF-αand IL-6 level were observed in two groups before and after treatment. Results The levels of TNF- and IL-6 in observation group were superior to the control group after treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P0.05,P0.05). The total effective rate was 94.7% in observation group and 68.4% in the control group. The total effective rate of observation group is higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion Ulinastatin combined with somatostatin can inhibit the inflammatory reaction and relieve the clinical symptoms in severe acute pancreatitis patients.
