In ethnic areas,local festivals are always regarded as important tourism resources in tourism development to show an important component part of local traditional culture.In the process of development,many ethnic festivals have stridden across original property of time and space.As long as the tourists are present, performances are staged to please them.Hosts,tourist developers and local government have had positive comment over this.With responsible attitude towards traditional culture,the paper,taking Yi Nationality's Duze as an example,analyzes the pros and cons of such kind of tourism development and puts forward the principle we need to observe in developing festival resources.
