Abstract

There are some similarity about the phenomena of suburbanization between China and the western developed countries, also many different characters and dynamical mechanism between them. The suburbanization is the outcome when the urbanization runs to a certain phase and the external form of the adjustment of spatial structure of large scale cities. Under the guidance of the rational urban and regional planning, the suburbnization and the development of the automobile industry will be well facilitated each other, and promote the optimization of the spatial structure of large scale cities.
