Abstract
0bjective: To explore the effect of Helicobacter pylori infection on liver function in patients with chronic HB.Methods: Liver function(serum total bilirubin,ALT,pro-time,AFP and blood ammonia)were detected in 126 patients with chronic HB,and the gastroscopy and Hp detection were applied to the patients at the same time.The patients were divided into two groups based on Hp detected: 79 cases in Hp(+) group and 47 cases in Hp(-)group.The correlation of Liver function was analyzed between Hp(+)group and Hp(-) group.Results: There were no differences between Hp(+) group and Hp(-)group of serum total bilirubin,ALT and pro-time,while AFP and blood ammonia of Hp(+) group was significantly higher than that of Hp(-)group in patients with chronic HB.Conclusions: Hp infection is probably another reason of AFP and blood ammonia increased in patients with chronic HB.
