Abstract

The paper describes two new species of the genus Torymus Dalman from Xinjiang and Gansu. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Applied Entomology, Zhejiang University.1. Torymus latialatus Lin et Xu, sp. nov. (Fig. 1) The new species is similar to T. apiomyiae Boucek Mihajlovic, 1986, but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1) the first with basal cell of fore wing only a few setae, but the latter with many setae in the whole basal cell; 2) the first with hind coax green, other part dark brown, but the latter with hind coax black; 3) the first longer with longer spur of hind tibia 0.59 times of basitarsus, the latter with longer spur of hind tibia 0.45 times of basitarsus; 4) the first with ratio length of ovipositor is 3.11 times of hind tibia, the latter with ratio length of ovipositor is 2.0 times of hind tibia. Holotype: ♀, Pishan County (37.6°N, 78.2°E), Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 17-Ⅶ-1991, coll. HE Jun-hua, No. 912515. 2. Torymus gansuensis Lin et Xu, sp. nov. (Fig. 2) The new species is similar to T. pulcher Boucek, 1996, but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1) the first with sides of hind coax with reticulate area in upper half, the latter with sides of hind coax smooth; 2) the first with hind coax with dorsal carina, the latter with hind coax without dorsal carina; 3) the first with gaster only a small puce spot at base, the latter with gaster reddish at base. Holotype: ♀, Dianba (33.0°N, 104.6°E), Wenxian County, Gansu Province, 16-Ⅵ-1998, coll. MA Yun, DU Yu-zhou, No. 984282.
