Abstract

The present paper deals with two new species of Sigalphus Latreille, which were collected from Hunan Province,in the central area of China.1. Sigalphus hunqnus You et Tong,sp.nov.(figs.1-6) This species is closely related to S.irrorator (Fabricius),1775,but differs from the latterin the antennae with segments, the longer hind tibial spur longer than half the length of the basitarsus of the hind tarsus and the basitarsus of hind tarsus which is longer than the combined length of the 2nd,3rd,and 4th segments of the hind tarsusLength:11-12 mm.Holotype Hengshan county,1981 Ⅶ.28,collected by Wang Lizhou.2. Sigalphus anomis You et Zhou,sp.nov.(figs.7-13)This species is similar to S.irrorator (Fabricius),but differs from the latter in the hind tibial spur longer than half the length of the basitarsus of the hind tarsus, the 2nd intercubitus which is three times longer than the 1st abscissa of the radius and the 3rd tergites of the abdomen which is 1.5 times longer than the length of the 1st.This species differs from S.huna-nus sp.nov.in the antennae with 50 segm ents, rather shallow notauli, weak crenulace and the propodeum which has 1 stout teeth at each lateral apex.Length:10 mm.Cocoon:Large,single,12mm long,5.5mm wide,cylinder-shaped,yellowish-brownHost:Anomis flava Fabricius.Holotype:Yueyang county,1975.Ⅵ.collected by Xu Can.All the types were preserved in the Hunan Agricultural College and projects supported by the science fund of Academia Sinica.
